The Snuggy Hoods Tail Bag, is quick and easy to use and can be worn in the stable, field or for travelling - helping keep your horses tail clean and tidy.

Designed to be used with either traditionally plaited, pulled or full tails (the latter can be loosely plaited just under the dock) a nifty central Velcro strap is threaded through the plait to secure the bag, with an elasticised toggle pulled around the tail for added security.

The toggle system helps prevent any muck getting into the bag, but also allows owners with horses that have extra long tails to 'loop' the bag back up in half, to prevent it dragging on the floor or being trodden on.

A Velcro hem, allows the bottom of the bag to be opened so that the tail can be guided through by hand, allowing the tail to be kept smooth and tangle free.

The unique design of the Tail Bag ensures that the majority of the tail is covered, allowing owners to continue bandaging the top half of the tail for protection or finish.

Because the tail does not have to be plaited for use, it saves time and fuss as well as leaving the horse with smooth, clean, kink free locks.

United Kingdom Orders

Orders are dispatched using a 48 hour tracked service. Smaller items are dispatched with Royal Mail.

Standard delivery to the UK is charged at £2.95 for smaller packages. Large packages are charged at £4.95

Snuggy Hoods aim to dispatch stock items within 3 business days (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays) after the order was placed, subject to product availability. We will aim to dispatch Made to order items such as Jams, Lycra, Sheath and Udder Covers and Made to measure items within 10 days.

Please allow 14 days for delivery of orders placed during clearance sales or end of season sales as these are very busy periods.

No orders will be dispatched on Saturday or Sunday or Bank Holidays – unless by prior arrangement at extra cost to the customer. You must inform us as soon as possible if your parcel has been delayed or damaged in transit.

Delivery to a Postal Address

Deliveries are normally sent using either Royal Mail or a courier service. A signature will be required on delivery for all couriered packages. If you are not at home when the courier calls, a card will be left with details about how to reschedule your delivery.


European Orders

Standard delivery to the EU is charged at £6.95 for smaller packages. Any medium packages will be charged at a rate of £12.95. Large packages are charged at £19.95

American & Canadian Orders

Standard delivery to the US/Canada is charged at £7.95 for smaller packages. Any medium packages will be charged at a rate of £15.95. Large packages are charged at £25.95

Returns & Exchanges

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

Unspoiled goods may be exchanged or refunded if returned within 14 days of order along with proof of purchase. To be accepted for exchange goods must be in new condition with all original packaging. A pre-paid Royal Mail returns label is provided for all non-sale items/orders. This Postage label should be supplied on the back of your invoice or can be supplied to the customer by email or post if required, please call +441225 783399 or email sales@snuggyhoods.com to request. All sale items/orders are to be returned at the customer’s expense. We don’t charge additional postage for exchanges so the cost from Snuggy Hoods back to the customer is covered by us. Soiled goods will not be considered for exchange or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please notify Snuggy Hoods of any goods that have been damaged in transit within 48 hours of receipt or no exchange will be considered. When returning goods please include full contact details, proof of purchase and reason for exchange or refund. Snuggy Hoods will not be responsible for returned goods that are lost in transit.

Please note, goods will only be considered for exchange or refund if they are clean and dry and in new condition. Snuggy Hoods offers a ‘free returns and exchanges policy’ so no extra postage charges will apply unless you choose to return items using a method other than our pre-paid postage label provided. PLEASE NOTE – the ‘the free returns and exchanges’ policy only applies to full price items/orders not discounted products. Please try to order the correct size and contact us if we can be of any further help with sizing.

Refunds will be issued by cheque, PayPal or credited via our card machine within 21 days of Snuggy Hoods receiving the item/s back in new condition.
