Delivery & Returns
The Snuggy Hoods Sweet Itch Hood offers protection from midges, flies and sunshine (along with mud, dust and dirt!). It comes complete with built in ears, fly-fringe and optional zip for easier fitting. Lined with a silky "shoulder and mane saver©" to prevent these areas from being rubbed or chaffed. There is also an option to have the Fly Fringe 'detachable' with Velcro so the hood can be transformed into a Turn Out Hood with ears for winter use.
This Hood is made of breathable, water repellent, heavy shower proof, lightweight stretch fabric it's fully machine-washable and designed to be worn 24/7, rain or shine.

Lynn Russell calls our Sweet Itch Body the "Spik and Span" as she is able to show her cobs straight from the field because their Sweet Itch Bodies keep them "spik and span"! It also prevents the sun bleaching the coat.
Sweet Itch is caused by an allergic reaction to the bites of the Culicoides midge and, to a lesser extent, Simulium Equinum. At present there is no cure for Sweet Itch. Once an animal develops the allergy it is generally affected every spring, summer and autumn. There are two approaches to improving the comfort of an affected animal: to minimize the allergic reaction with corticosteroids, anti-histamines or soothing lotions or to minimise midge attack using our sweet itch "body"©. The latter offers the most effective protection and avoids the need to use chemicals, repellents, oils or greases.
As with all our products Snuggy Hoods offer a full after sales service that is second to none. Alterations, repairs and general advice are offered for the life of the product ensuring it is NOT a one season wonder.
Delivery
Snuggy Hoods aim to dispatch stock items within 3 business days (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays) after the order was placed, subject to product availability. We will aim to dispatch Made to order items such as Jams, Sheath and Udder Covers and Made to measure items within 14 days
No orders will be dispatched on Saturday or Sunday or Bank Holidays – unless by prior arrangement at extra cost to the customer.
You must inform us as soon as possible if your parcel has been delayed or damaged in transit.
Returns & Exchanges
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
Unspoiled goods may be exchanged or refunded if returned (at customers expense) within 14 days of order along with proof of purchase. Soiled goods will not be considered for exchange or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please notify Snuggy Hoods of any goods that have been damaged in transit within 72 hours of receipt or no exchange will be considered. Please dispatch goods by Recorded Post or Parcel Force and include proof of purchase and reason for exchange or refund. Snuggy Hoods will not be responsible for returned goods that are lost in transit.
Please note, goods will only be considered for exchange or refund if they are clean and dry and in new condition. P&P for exchanges will be charged at our current rate. Please try to order the correct size and contact us if we can be of any further help with sizing.
